Client Consultation Guide for Custom Figure Sculptures

Ensuring Accuracy & Comfort in Creating Your Custom Sculpture

Why We Request Unclothed Reference Material

To create a truly personalized and detailed sculpture, it’s important to capture the unique curves, shapes, and expressions that define your form. While clothed references can provide valuable information, working from unclothed photos helps to capture the natural proportions and nuances that make your sculpture an accurate reflection of you. This is especially important for figurative pieces like pregnancy sculptures, where the beauty of your natural form is central to the artwork.

Your Comfort is Our Priority

Your comfort and privacy are my top priorities throughout the entire process. I understand that every client has different comfort levels when it comes to reference material, especially regarding nudity. That’s why I offer a range of options to ensure you feel completely at ease:

  • Full or Partial Unclothed References: If you’re comfortable, providing unclothed photos allows me to achieve the highest level of detail and accuracy in your sculpture. However, if you’d prefer, we can also work with semi-clothed or partially covered photos, focusing only on the areas that you want highlighted in the sculpture.

  • Draped or Fabric-Covered Poses: Some clients prefer to be draped in fabric or clothed in certain areas. If this is your preference, we can still work together to capture the essence of your form while incorporating your chosen level of coverage.

Privacy & Confidentiality

I take your privacy very seriously. Any reference material you provide, whether photos, videos, or measurements, will be used solely for the purpose of creating your sculpture. Here’s how I ensure your privacy:

  • Secure Storage: All reference material will be securely stored and can be permanently deleted upon your request after the completion of the project.

  • Confidentiality: Your reference materials will not be shared or shown to anyone else without your explicit permission. I respect the personal nature of this process and am committed to safeguarding your privacy.

What You Can Expect

Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect during the process:

  1. Initial Consultation: We’ll discuss your vision for the sculpture, including the level of detail and customization you’d like. During this conversation, we’ll talk about your preferences for reference material, whether that’s unclothed photos or other options.

  2. Reference Gathering: If you’re comfortable, you can provide unclothed photos or video that show your form from multiple angles—front, side, back, and three-quarter views. These will help me understand your body’s proportions and unique features.

  3. Creation Process: Using the reference materials, I’ll begin sculpting. You’ll be involved in each stage of the process, from initial sketches or maquettes to the final piece, ensuring the sculpture truly represents your vision.

  4. Final Review & Approval: Once the sculpture is completed, you’ll have a chance to review it and provide any feedback before it’s finished and delivered.
